Elite Fire Taekwondo is a husband and wife Martial Art Club which operates in Raleigh, NC.

Houman Mirzaei, a 6th-degree Black Belt Taekwondo Master, is a recognized International Coach proficient in both Forms and Sparring. Additionally, he serves as a national referee for both forms and sparring. Houman's journey in Taekwondo commenced at the tender age of 3, with competitive participation commencing at 6 years old. Notably, at 12 years of age, he partook in his first National Competition.
Master Mirzaei gained professional experience as a Taekwondo player in Iran, achieving National titles in both sparring and forms within the prestigious "League Bartar." The League Bartar stands as the premier National League in Iran, responsible for selecting members for the National and Olympic teams.
Furthermore, Houman Mirzaei has been dedicated to coaching, imparting his expertise to both adults and youths in sparring and forms since 2002. His students have excelled on a National and International level, further underscoring his coaching prowess.
Beyond his Taekwondo achievements, Master Mirzaei possesses a well-rounded athletic background, including 8 years of gymnastic training in his youth, alongside training in wrestling and kickboxing. This diversified experience contributes to his comprehensive understanding of martial arts and physical fitness.

Houman received his training from Grand Master Alireza Mirzaei, an 8th dan black belt, from the time he was a young child. Grand Master Mirzaei boasts an impressive track record as both an International Referee and International Coach. His exceptional skills in officiating were acknowledged with the title of Best Referee in Iran for nine consecutive years, spanning from 2011 to 2020. Furthermore, GM Mirzaei's dedication to Taekwondo instruction is evident in his 30 years of experience, during which he also owned and operated his own school.

In addition to Houman's achievements, his sister, Master Shabnam Mirzaei, is a formidable force in Taekwondo, holding a 6th-degree Black Belt. She, too, has made her mark as an International Referee and International Coach. Her competitive prowess is underscored by her National medals and her participation in the National League. Similar to their mentor, Grand Master Alireza Mirzaei, Shabnam Mirzaei has been recognized as the Best Referee in Iran, earning this honor for an impressive six years, from 2014 to 2020.

Neshat Mirzaei holds a 3rd-degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and an impressive 2nd-degree Black Belt in Hapkido. Her martial arts journey extends to Muay Thai Kickboxing, demonstrating her versatility in combat sports. With over four years of experience as a Cardio Kickboxing Instructor, she has an evident passion for sharing her martial arts expertise.
Neshat's athletic background is not limited to martial arts. During her youth, she gracefully practiced ballet, and she also made her mark as a volleyball player at her school. Currently, she serves as an Instructor at Elite Fire Taekwondo and fulfills the roles of Manager and Marketing/Program Director at the same establishment, showcasing her commitment to and involvement in the world of martial arts.

For 24 years, Neshat has worn the hat of an entrepreneur, a role that she approaches with boundless creativity and unwavering passion. Her entrepreneurial journey took a transformative turn when her children excelled in Taekwondo, securing State, National, and International medals, actively participating in numerous competitions, and delivering countless demonstrations. This remarkable experience ignited her desire to shape not only her family's future but also the futures of other families.
Neshat's deep-rooted belief in the profound essence of Martial Arts, where the unity of mind, body, and spirit paves the way to not only discover life's purpose but also to attain a prosperous and harmonious existence, served as her guiding philosophy. As a dedicated mother, her unique journey of working closely with children and parents, while establishing secure and educational spaces for kids and women to pursue their aspirations, fueled her determination to establish Elite Fire Taekwondo. In doing so, she aspired to inspire and support others on their quest for personal growth and success.
